How to Create Your Personalised Star Map
1. Choose Your Date & Time
Start by choosing the date and time of the special moment you want to remember. It could be your wedding day, the night you met, a birthday, the birth of a child or any other meaningful date.
2. Select Your Location
Enter the location where your special moment took place. Your star map uses the location, date and time together to recreate the night sky as it appeared above you.
4. Confirm Your Final Star Map
Once you have finished creating your star map, we prepare the final design based on your chosen date, location, colours, typography and personal details. Before production, we send you the finished design as an SVG file by email so you can check and confirm that everything is exactly as you want it.
Your star map is only sent for final production after you have confirmed the design.

NASA JPL Horizons
— planetary positions are calculated using the same ephemeris engine used by space missions.

accurate to the arcsecond.
IAU Constellation Boundaries
— zodiac boundaries follow the official delineations established by the International
Astronomical Union, the global authority on astronomical nomenclature since 1919.

Our stellar engine is built on D3-Celestial, the open-source astronomical projection library used by researchers and educators worldwide. D3-Celestial translates raw catalogue data into the classic cartographic style you see on our maps — the same visual language found in professional star atlases for over a century.
